I am a first time user of this site and would like to introduce myself. I am 41 years old and have been playing role playing games for 30 years. I started with a bastardized version of the Advanced D&D game system and branched out from there over the years. I still like the game under the 3.5 version but find it hard to find time to get away from the family. I am looking to join an online game that I can contribute to in the evenings.

i started with my own brand of rpg, it was fun but than i found actual dnd. im only 18 and played for about 4-5 years, i stick to 3.5 that is all i have been introduced to. if you want to find player check the player portal and to find games look at the campaign invitations.

I suggest you fill out the player registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17). That is likely your quickest way of finding a game.

There are actually Many with near your experience in the forums. There are also quite a few old timers who I'm sure would love to hear from you, Groqx. I myself have been playing for 29 years, senility just hasn't set in for most of us yet. ;)

Welcome to the community! For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is an invaluable tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Please join us in on any of the various topics being discussed in the forums. For best results taking the initiative to contact players in your area should greatly increase your chances of finding others to game with. Many players are in groups that have openings but since they aren't the GM they don't go out of their way to recruit new players for the game. I wish you the best of luck in finding gaming bliss in the near future.
