Check out this new article Wizards of the Coast posted recently:

Spotlight -- Naga (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4mspot/20080205)

This 31-point figure can give you an extra 5 VP per turn. That would almost pay off the cost in 6 turns -- if the game lasted that long, which it probably won't, and if the Naga gets its tail into a victory area, which it probably won't.

I always enjoyed Nagas as intelligent enemies that give players the willies. Too bad this one turned out to be so poor as a mini. And a rare? Ugh.

This one is a rare? I thought it was a poor Naga indeed. That is just sad :(

Some of the earlier nagas are better, IMO. Like the Bone Naga. Everything is better dead. I'm not misunderstood, I'm Chaotic Evil!!! Bwahahahaha...

I am not all that fond of this rendition of a Naga.

That is the problem with alignment - I would swear I am chaotic good but everyone else swears I'm lawful evil. Hmmm... go figure.

Same here. Just from the picture, it looks like they put a grimacing human face on top of a spiky snake's head. How does it eat?

(MINOR SPOILER AHEAD)

I wish someone would do a naga resembling the creature in Robert E. Howard's "The God in the Bowl" ... attractive humanoid head on top, snaky coils below.

Dang, that sucker is one wicked dude. Makes the Desert of Desolation Naga look like a garden snake.

Here's the mini:
72

This fits better with Naga's human head rendition, with this pic being more skully then Farcaster's.
