i get about 10-20 emails (and growing) about thread updates from here. i would very much like to see one daily (or even weekly as an option) consolidated email for all the threads that have been updated in the specified time period. pretty please! would make kitty very very happy! :D

In the navbar, goto the User CP and select Edit Options (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions). Look for the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" section. Under that, change your options to Daily Email Notification or Weekly Email Notification, as desired.

actually i was wanting more than that. i have them set for weekly now. what i want is all of the various weekly emails consolidated into one giant email, instead of 30+ weekly emails. is that a possibility?

How do you get 30+ weekly emails?

I get em too. One email per subscribed thread

Hmm.. I will look into that. It is a function of vBulletin, and honestly, I thought it only sent one email with all updates.

One email per subscribed thread? That is horrible. It is vBullitin though. I don't think there is much Farcaster can do about it without recoding the forum itself, which makes future updates insanely meticulous.

I suppose I could just stop the emails, but I just don't want to miss anything! I'm addicted!

Normally I would think of myself as a postaholic, but my 200+ posts since November pales against the grand master's 1600+ posts in the same time frame.

Just trying to support this fine community. The hardest thing about this place is that there are so many intelligent and open minded people in the same place. Conversations are truly stimulating and I can ask questions and get thoroughly detailed feedback. What I find most amazing is that people constantly disagree and yet nobody gets angry at one another. I'm used to flame wars over nothing and walking on egg shells.

I just turn the blood thing off. I'm in here everyday, if not twice a day. I run the whole forum from top to bottom. Who needs notification?
