View Full Version : Hello from Dallas

I moved to Dallas a year ago and am just now getting around to trying to find a regular gaming group. I'd like to get involved in a D&D campaign of some sort. I live close to 75 and Mockingbird.

I've played every edition of D&D, but always in one-shots rather than in campaigns. I'm also playing in Paranoia and Star Wars RPG one-shots.

I'm 30 years old and work from home writing poker strategy software. :)

Welcome. You are definitely in luck, we have many Texas gamers on these boards. Check out the player registry and campaign invitations for gamers/games.

Sounds like a pretty sweet job, is it freelance or a regular gig.

God luck in your search!

Welcome to the community! For finding players the Player Registry (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/memberlist.php) is an invaluable tool and for recruiting players as a DM the Campaign Invitations (http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) forum is perfect. Looks like we're only 18 miles apart as I live in Wylie. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with playing D&D. I'm just starting to get into GURPS but not sure when I'll be ready to start hosting games. I wish there was a D&D chip I could just install in my brain. Then we'd be good to go :p

It's my own company, so I have no income whatsoever at the moment, but when I get my product out the door I get to keep 100% of the profits. High risk, high reward. :-)
