Once upon a time I was a real gamer. Mostly 2nd Ed D&D, V:tm (tabletop and LARP) and my favorite..Shadowrun. Then my boyfriend and I moved to Dallas. Where are all the gamers???
We tried and we tried to put together groups among the people we met, but met only failure..SO....we got addicted to WoW. That was a year and a half ago. The result is, an innovative storyteller (him) and a story motivated, method-acting player (me) started talking like this...
ME: O ffs i need more epix
HIM: u r so emo
ME: /wrist /gquit
HIM: LOL
ME: screw this. L2 not MMORPG. I don't want to play WoW anymore.
HIM: O RLY?
ME: YA RLY!
HIM: NO WAI!
Ok...that conversation never happened. But...it could have, and that scares me.
I am hoping to get into REAL gaming again...you know...the kind that requires...intelligence...imagination....interacti on with actual people.
