I'm currently working on developing an old west rpg. I've got rough draft developed and I'm currently cleaning it up. I'm making the game where folk tales and legends are real and magic is alive and well and used along with the technology of the 19th century.

If anybody has any suggestions please let me hear about them.:D

Have you read the Dark Tower (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0451211243?ie=UTF8&tag=penandpaperga-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0451211243) series by Stephen King? It might be an excellent resource for what a technology-meets-wild-west-meets-mythological setting might be like.

What system do you use?

Deadlands, from what I understand is an excellent system and easy to use.

Other than that, welcome to the boards. Feel free to jump in, comment or ask away. We're all here to help, players and moderators alike.

I've heard some very interesting stuff about Dogs in the Vineyard. The guy who runs w ww.therpgsite.com hates it, which makes it a worthwhile book to check out in my view.

I've developed my own game engine. Just trying to work out the bugs.
