Why do you need a program?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but this looked like a fun tutorial.

Obviously you need Photoshop to make a forum signature......
Google forum signature tutorials and you will find a ton of great things like what Ronny linked to.

Huh, so I did mine wrong then? Weird.

We'll have to go to the officials for a replay but I'm going to say yes!!!
Of course you didn't do it wrong, but I think he was referring to a signature like the one Ronny linked to.
If its just an image he wants to link to like yours then hopefully he can clarify so we can all jump on him with the proper HTML code to use.

If you don't have photoshop then try the GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) a free image editor. Can't say it is as good a photoshop, but it's close enough for a legally free photoshop substitute.

Chances are if you don't have photoshop it isn't something that is going to be too useful to you anyway. Photoshop isn't exactly newbie friendly. There are tons of free signature creators online as well as programs you can download.

It seems like a lot of work for somebody who knows little about computer stuff. Do all the cool computer geeks have sigs like this?

Usually depends on the forum. I've seen countless signatures but few I would consider pretty to look at.

Actually, if the forum allows for a nice sized sig, at least in my opinion, I use the forum's sig function. If it doesn't, I create a Word doc that contains the code and copy needed for my personal sig.
So, if I'm using the forum sig function, I just make a normal post, otherwise, when I've finished typing my post, I open the Word doc, copy and paste it's contents into the post and then submit the post.
Either way, it looks like my sig was added to the thread.
Oh, and the way I get that copy for my Word doc, I just experiment with whatever special codes that the forum uses in a thread, without actually posting the thread and once I understand how the code works for that particular forum, I finalize what I'm going to use and then save it to the Word doc.

When I type I just type in BBCode. I really need to get a graphical sig together though. Something that screams pen and paper. Or something that gets your attention enough that you want to check out the website. I'd donate blood to this website if it needed lol.

well that would be one way to get money to donate to the forums. ^^
