I've known of this for some time now but since the Master of Links has failed to share this one with you I shall.

There are a lot of options and I've never missed with this application. I often start here with a dungeon and modify when appropriate. This is a great way to recharge the creative juices while still working on the story.

I have actually used some of these generators in the past. The NPC, dungeon, and treasure generators are pretty good for what they are. While they need some work, they are helpful in a pinch. The town generator might have some merit, but I found a better one a few years ago. It would give a map and breakdown of the buildings. (I'll have to check if I can find it again)

I use the dungeon generator just for the layout of the dungeon if I don't want to spend a lot of time on some dungeon that's not integral to the story. I find that the monsters they generate usually don't work for me because they aren't found in the area or some other reason due to the story.

awesome, thanks for the link, it'll be really useful for some of those curve balls that players can throw at DMs.
DM - "You want to go where?"
Player - "Into the dungeon"
DM - "Ummm ok, I'll be back in a couple mins gonna take a "toilet break"" - generate map and presto!

Found this character generator, rocks. It's excel and does a whole lot of the calculations for you. Or you can just go through its' steps and generate a character:

Yeah. D&D3.5 only. You could search the root site for other character sheet generators though. It's got a whole lot of forms.

The GUI is much nicer than the first generator but I'm confused on the multi-level dungeons. The generator doesn't label the stairs so it all looks like one level.

While not as advanced as the other two mentioned I like the look of the maps generated with this generator (http://www.gozzys.com/article.php?cm_id=8) much better. Then again I usually only use the maps and fill in all the details myself.
