Hey all! I just joined this here group. I hope to find some people to play games with!

I have been playing D&D since my dad brought home the basic set for me and my brother when I was just a boy. Now I am all grown up, married, and a parent, but I'm still playing!:)

Playing RPGs is important to me because it is a good way to unwind and destress. Plus, I would say I have a bit of a storyteller inside of me so I like to get the chance to be creative with a group of similar minded people. The people I had been playing with before were great. We had been friends since highschool and stuck together, but life has taken me away from them (I still see them but not enough to run a campaign with them or anything) so with any luck I'll find some people who I can connect with in my new area.

Welcome 'one who dives into the pool of holy water and gets a gold medal'.

Feel free to search the registry for additional players in your area and jump right in on the forums. Glad to have ya.

Welcome a'board, HolyDiver. Looks like we have a number of players registered from your area who are LFG, so hopefully you'll be in a group in no time. My advice, as it is to everyone, is to PM everyone who looks like they share similar interests in your area and try to get something going.

Happy Hunting!

Absolutely what Farcaster said. PM them. I recently posted an advert in the game invitation section and got little response. Then I decided to PM locals and then found a good group. I'm finding that not everyone reads the invitations section and should :) especially if they want to find a game.

Thanks for the advice. I have PMed some folks and already heard back from one guy! Hopefully I'll get a good gang together soon!

That dog seems to disagree. Obviously also a Dio fan.
