Me too, and I've been to more conventions this year than the last 3 years combined. (Admittedly, that makes the number 4 cons, but that ain't the point!)

So, I'll put this out there just cause, to me it's totally unheard of.

If in the future there is a local (dallas/ft worth) convention that some of us are going to be at, post about it. I'd be interested in the adventure and nerd migratory patterns.

Dragon Con is a new 'first' for me so I have no idea what to expect.

A friend of mine works as a rep for a couple of gaming companies and goes to quite a few cons! He makes me very envious! Anyway, I'd like to go to DragonCon, but am not sure if I'll make it in the next year or so.

My plan is to start saving for any cons I want to go to when they happen that year. That way, by the next time it rolls around next year, I'll have the money saved up. Course, I've got to save for two as my wife would want to go as well, even though she doesn't game!

Good news is she lets me game, so even if she went along, I'd still have fun there, plus, I'd know someone there for sure! Bad news, I have to save twice as much!;)
