Bonus points if you know where th ename came from.

I'm a veteran player who's been out of the game for a few years. I had a pretty tight group when I lived in Chicago but since moving to the Dallas area have had a tough go of it (Work always got in the way, etc etc)

I'm looking for medium to large group of players who like to focus a bit more on character-driven stories than hack and slash (but know that there must be some action, I don't RP Bronte.) I co-ran a pretty successful Feng Shui game in Chicago and played in long running Amber and Ars Magica campaigns. I also took part in an HKAT studio campaign with roating directors (new movie = new director + same actors with director's actor as main villain)

I've dabbled in most mainstream games (WOD, DnD, GURPS, SHadowrun) and would love to dabble a bit more in whatever's out there to dabble in.

I thought he was talking about those things on the Land of the Lost.

Then perhaps I'm assuming more intelligence than what's there?

Heh, not Sleestak, but those glowing diamonds that flew in pairs of three when Will and Holly were messing around the Pylons.

And I'm not sure how sad this is, but I was actually remembering this show reference and not looking up the word 'skylon', until now....

It's not rocket science... and it ain't ancient history either...

It's a line from a song about a bomb-difusal expert who saves a hijacked plain, "and should any of you ever bump into me on the street my name is Skylon."

No points awarded today, but kudos for the effort.

They write songs about bomb-difusal experts who save hijacked planes?

Damn, what happened to good stuff like "Mr Bojangles", "Ticket to Ride" or "Rainy Days and Mondays"?

Are we really running out of things to write about?

Oh, found another reference:

Seems it has something to do with Conan also.

How is a song about a baby donkey riding a chicken better? ;)

That's wrong. Just wrong. I'll bet Yoko is behind that abomination.
