Hi, I only joined recently. I'm hoping to get some more gaming experience from sites such as these, and perhaps meet a few new friends if possible. I'm looking forward to that!:)

Thanks for the welcome!:D Hm, to be honest, I'm willing to give any games a try; you'll never know what you may come to like if you never experiment, right?;) Lately though, I've been quite fascinated by fantasy-based type of drama; ever since I've seen the movie 300, who doesn't want to pick up a sword and go hack& slash happy? Is there any games or genre in particular that you would recommend?

Alot of games welcome sword fighters :D D&D is only the tip of the iceburg. Personally I'm an avid fan of World of Darkness :D I love the concept of playing one of the "monsters". There are alot of WoD games out there, I'll put in links so you can glance at the general idea and info on the games...

Vampire the Requiem = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire_the_requiem (I won't lie, most people prefer it's older Brother Vampire the Masquerade, I must admit I do miss it but it's out of print)

Promethean the Created = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Promethean_the_created (if you like drama you'd love this one :D)

Mage the Awakening = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mage:_The_Awakening

Werewolf the Forsaken = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werewolf:_The_Forsaken (personally I'm not too fond of this game, I prefer it's older brother Werewolf the Apocalypse but sadly it like all the older WoD games are you of print)

Changeling the Lost = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changeling:_The_Lost (comes out in late August, sounds great in my opinion.)

Scion = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scion_%28role-playing_game%29 it's not technically a WoD game but it's made by white wolf and I adore it :D The idea of playing as the child of a greek, norse, aztec, voodoo, or japanese god who's on a quest to kill titan spawn I find fascinating.)

Star Wars is good too in my opinion but I haven't played the newest edition of it. Genre Wise I'm fond of horror and some fantasy, I like Star Wars but that's the only Sci-fi game I'm familiar with. A friend of mine is an avid fan of a game called "Witchcraft" here's a link for it to where you can download the whole corebook for free http://edenstudios.net/witchcraft/ incase you wanna sneak a peek at it. Hope I helped, have fun :D
