How do I simply and totally delete my account?

Really, no one can answer this? I looked around some and couldn't find it and as usual the site is not intuitive (to me). How do I delete my account?

mods are the only ones that can delete an account

The admins may see this or it could be passed on by a mod, but one option is for you yourself to delete all the info from the different parts of your profile here, so it's a "clean slate" so to speak. But there's no real pressing need to delete the account, its just a few kilobytes of info in a database and unless for some reason you don't want some publicly available info that you've placed in it to be stumbled across, you're welcome to just "abandon" the account with no further action, if you really think you won't be coming back. I've never understood people wanting to delete accounts. Just ignore emails from this site, they don't send out hardly any, anyway so that shouldn't be a problem to begin with.

I can deactivate, but I won't delete. I need to be able to go back and audit any events from the account.

Sorry to see you go. Account suspended for now. I'll delete it after period of time.

Seriously, there needs to be an option to delete your account. Inactive-but-still-there strikes me as a less-than-secure option for someone who has no plans to interact with the site. (I signed up years ago, and have visited only a handful of times, and never gotten any use out of it; I've left my tabletop gaming days behind).

I will refer you to the prior posts by the Super Moderator and the Administrator. Also, even on sites that give you a "delete your account" option, it is not completely deleted. This is due to the site being required to provide information that would be requested by a legal authority, by means of a subpeona.cplmacModerator, P&PG
