Anyone playing Saga?

If so, what is your opinion of the new game system, overall playbility, etc..?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Haven't played it yet, but very much want to. I've created a few characters at various levels, including a droid, and I'm pleased with how quick and easy it is, as well as how flexible. Personally, I really dig this leaner, meaner version of the d20 System, and I think it'll lend itself to cinematic gameplay. If you're more interested in my thoughts, you can read my review (http://www.gamecrafters.net/archives/266).

I'd hate to think that this is a better version than then standard d20. Especially since I own most all the d20 SW books. Like 3.0 to 3.5. Bah.

I was hesitant at first also because I had bought all the other books. However it is surprising how easily everything converts to the new system. I stil use the Galactic Campaign Guide on a regular basis during our new Saga game. As well as the Coruscant and the Core Worlds and the Geonosis and the Outer Rim books have come in handy on a few occasions.

Plus it is amazing how quick and easy it is to create characters for this new version. I mean practically no time, less than 15 minuets!

Not like the 2 hours it takes me to make a back up 7th level character for D&D!

I freakin love it!
