View Full Version : Looking to form a Traveller (or other Sci-Fi) campaign (in-person)

Hi everyone,

I am have been gaming since the 1980s and started with Traveller and the D&D Red Box. I am DMing online campaigns on obsidianportal.com but really do miss in-person gaming.

I see that there are a number of players registered on this site that are near Northborough MA that are all looking to be a player. I am starting this thread (I have also started a fantasy casting call as well) to see if we can get 3-5 others who are still interested in gaming together every other week or so or (if we are lucky) every week for a Traveller Campaign.

I don't have to be the DM but can be. I am more just trying, at this stage to be the catalyst to get a group formed.

Any of the following Traveller systems would work.

1. Traveller (black boxes)
2. Traveller (mongoose)
3. Traveller (5th edition)

Hello, I've heard of Traveller mostly when Mongoose switch B5 over to it from D20. I'd be interested in checking it out. I'm also looking for possible players for a Star Wars Edge of the Empire game as well if you might be interested.

Hi Dark, thanks for the offer -- I would love to play but alas that 100 miles is just a tad out of my range!

Hi Keiran,

It looks like I am 24 miles from you-- that should work. I would be interested in playing your Star Wars campaign. I assume that you are DMing in Ayer - which night of the week and what is the frequency?

I've drove that distance to play but no worries and no loss lol just thought I'd toss out the offer.

I would be down to try a Mongoose edition game. I have been reading the rules this year and I really like them.

IGNORE ME. I was thinking this was an ONLINE game. it would help if I could read. :)
