Multi-media Dragon Kings Project Launches In All Electronic Formats

LAS VEGAS, NV – June 18, 2014 – The Dragon Kings design team announced today the release of its multi-media project in all electronic media.

“The original plan has come to fruition,” says project creator Timothy Brown. “We’ve achieved my original vision for a game world created simultaneously in lore, art, and music, and all its major pieces are now available in all electronic media. Each piece has exceeded my expectations, and I’m excited to share them.”

The Dragon Kings World Book describes the fantasy world of Khitus, a savage realm beautifully illustrated and presented. It is a complete setting for any role-playing game, with specific rule system PDF supplements soon to be released for Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, and 13th Age. The Dragon Kings World Book is available now in PDF, along with a PDF of its stunning poster map.

The Dragon Kings CD is a progressive rock concept album presenting one warrior’s epic adventure across that fantasy world. Conceived and performed by Brown with stalwart prog-rock guitarist and vocalist Mike Stone, the twelve-song collection was mastered by award-winning producer Frank Klepacki. Rat Pak Records has just released the CD on iTunes, Google Play, and all other prominent music sites.

The Dragon Kings Gazetteer ties it all together, a free promotional PDF with additional lore, art, and all the song lyrics. “We encourage everyone to check out the Gazetteer to get a feel for the world,” adds Brown, “and to share the PDF and links to it with anyone and everyone who might enjoy Dragon Kings.”

All these pieces are available in electronic format at www.dragonkingsproject.com. Physical copies – books, the map and CD – are available for preorder pending release in late summer

About Dragon Kings
Dragon Kings is Timothy Brown’s ‘spiritual successor’ to his award-winning Dark Sun role-playing universe, co-designed with author Troy Denning and artist Gerald Brom for the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game. Dragon Kings is a new fantasy game world conceived and presented in fiction, art, and music simultaneously. The project will eventually expand beyond role-playing and music into comics, video, and computer games.

Ok, a slight update to that. I believe we changed the room for the Tim Brown interview to The Pub. Just so that people coming online will likely hit up the main chat, and be directed to games/ or the Interview with Tim from there.

If there are any questions you have for Tim, that you would like an In depth , well thought out answer, Please post them here or PM them to me. I will have a list of questions that I will pass along to him so he can be prepared for the big ones. There will also be an open Q&A after those.
