Back in the mid-eighties, Kenner Toys melded the high concepts of G.I. Joe and Transformers into a single line, creating M.A.S.K. (see Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.A.S.K.)). That series of action figures and transforming vehicles only survived at retail for a few years, but the idea of transformable vehicles and the heroes and villains who pilot them has remained popular in many types of media .*.*. and the newly-launched Acid Rain World (http://acidrainworld.blogspot.hk/) is one of the more gorgeous examples of this that I've seen in a very long time.

These 1/18 action figures and vehicles are a little pricey, but the designs and amazing artwork (http://acidrainworld.blogspot.hk/2014/02/online-stores-and-wholesalers-updae.html) make me wish there was a chance at producing a GURPS (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/) suppment dedicated to the line.

Click through to the Acid Rain World blog (http://acidrainworld.blogspot.hk/) and scroll through the posts to see the designs. And then if you're feeling ambitious grab your GURPS Robots (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/Robots/), GURPS Mecha (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/Mecha/), and GURPS Vehicles (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/Vehicles/) books and take a stab at crafting one of the transforming mecha for your post-apocalyptic military pleasure.

*Brickworld Update

My signings now are scheduled for FRIDAY (not Thursday) at 3pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. They'll be at the CrazyBricks (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/crazybricks/munchkin-bricks-accessories-for-your-miniature-fig) booth.

PS - Yes, Phil, that would make an awesome GURPS worldbook.

Warehouse 23 (http://www.warehouse23.com/) News: Hear The Cry Of The Banshee!

It's an especially satisfying sound when this missile tank rains fire down upon the advancing Ogre. The Banshee Missile Tank (http://www.warehouse23.com/products/SJG10-0202) is the same model that was included in Combine Set 5, and each Combine missile tank is worth 6 points.

Get this and other Ogre miniatures at Warehouse 23 (http://www.warehouse23.com/products?&taxons[]=558398383-sb&taxons[]=558398555-sb)!
