View Full Version : Vampire: the Masquerade, the Childer's Crusade, Berkeley, CA

My Changeling game is going so well, I feel obligated to start another game.

Once a month, in Berkeley, CA. Starting after the holidays. Looking for 3-4 players.

The Pitch:

"The Third Tradition: The Progeny: Thou shall only Sire another with the permission of thine elder. If thou createst another without thine Elder's leave, both thou and thy Progeny shall be slain"

When they call it the City of Angels, they give it too much credit. Precariously led by the mad Prince Annalise Perdita, Los Angeles is a besieged city of fledgelings. All young, all new to the laws of the Night, there are still so many that have the strength, the Generation, to rival the power of so very many Elders. It doesn't matter who you are. It matters who you appear to be. It doesn't matter what you did, it matters what you are seen to do. It doesn't matter what you are, it matters whose company you keep. The blood is the life, and all that. Become or becoming, it's not important so long as you put on a good show, and always, alway remember who's watching.

The young, estranged and disaffected are welcomed to this Neverland, the elderly, established and settled are pushed to its (and their) limits. Of course, some kinds of power can't be ignored, but one does what one must and what one can.

You don't have to be beautiful here, but it helps. You don't have to be clever but it will get you a great deal farther. This is a city of the Night Hunt, of coteries formed between half-grown neophytes none quite trusting the other. Trust is a rarefied commodity, here, but so is power. And you know what they say about power.

Welcome to Los Angeles, 1992. Welcome to the Childer's Crusade."

Right now we're looking at Sundays, late afternoon into evening. Times are pretty dependent on players, but day is pretty fixed.

I actually live in Sacramento, so I have to play weekends, when I can drive down, and my Changeling game is Mondays, which is my day off.

Unless its pretty late in the day (after 7pm start time) you will have to count me out.

Damn, no, I can't start that late. But you'd be welcome to either play an occasional drop-in that comes late, or consistently come in the evening of the session. I was thinking playing like 5-10 ish.
