1) What game system are you running and if applicable what edition: Pathfinder.

2) What 'type' or variant of game will it be ? What is the setting for the game: Core rules, set in Golarion, the Pathfinder Campaign Setting. Specifically, you will be in Varisia, in the town of Sandpoint.

3) How many Players are you looking for? 4-5

4) What's the gaming medium? PbP

5) What is the characters' starting status? 1st Level.

6) How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with? Standard per the core rules.

7) Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? A balanced party would be best. There is quite a lot of combat in this campaign.

8) What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Core Only

9) By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points? 20 point buy (Which is a lot)

10) Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so? Good or neutral characters.

11) Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it? Multi-classing allowed as you advance, GM approval required (You must provide a rationale) if you plan on multi-classing and this is essential to your character, get approval from me on character creation.

12) Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? No, everyone rolls their own dice, using the TTW dice roller.

13) Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? None. (Though you get 3 Hero points per level. They do not carry over however)

14) Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular? Yes. See the "Rise of the Rune Lords Players Guide" Located Here (https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account/assets).

15) Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above? A combination, with an emphasis on role playing and combat. Some combats may be very challenging.

16) Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements? Core rules only. (Especially if all you have is the core rulebook.)

(OOC: The Players Guidebook Should Be Read at least to get the most out of the city of Sandpoint, and it might give you a reason to be there. Here are a few examples, but feel free to make up your own reason.)

A cleric PC might be asked by a superior to travel to Sandpoint to witness the ceremony. A bard might be drawn by the opportunity to perform before a new crowd. A rogue might be tempted by the promise of networking with new contacts. A fighter might be hired to escort a merchant to town. And, of course, if you are a local, you need no reason apart from the fact that everyone in town will be there!

You each arrive in Sandpoint to attend the Swallowtail Festival (a ritual to consecrate the town’s new cathedral) How you met, if you met already is up to you as a group to decide. Otherwise, your main reason to be in Sandpoint is for the Festival.

Are you looking only for people who know Pathfinder itself? Could knowledge of D&D 3.5 and checking through Pathfinder's SRD work?

@Windstar - Yes I haven't even begun accepting characters yet. I will be accepting 5 MAX. If I have more than 5 interesting character apps then we will have some kind of a vote.

@Tararius - Yes, I am new to Fathfinder as well but it is very similar.

I'd love to throw my hat in the ring if you still have room. If you're full up, though, no worries. Maybe next time. :)
