Gaia Saga Basic is the most easy to understand set of rules for the Gaia Saga universal gaming system. You can pick up the rules at www.gaiasagaonline.com (http://www.gaiasagaonline.com) for a cheap price.

Gaia Saga is Rosser Industries primiere role playing system, having taken over eight years to produce, it includes unique game mechanics that are so flexible to players that you may find yourself drooling over them. ;)

Heres a quick run-down of what Gaia Saga Basic has to offer you:

The Success Dice System: Gaia Saga uses its very own unique system of rolling dice, using the commonly found D6 as its basic unit. This system uses all dice you can find in any type of game, allowing you to have massively strong characters (some having scores in the 100s) without making things too complicated.
The Purchase System: This special mechanic allows players to accumulate as much experience points as they desire, and spend them whenever they want to on whatever stat they want to. This system removes the common "Leveling" system of other games where you have to wait a long period of time to increase a characters abilities, and allows you to be able to completely customize your characters from the ground up.
Jobs: Instead of having "classes" a character can have multiple job professions, each one enabling them to do different things. Your jobs will decide what kind of skills your character begins with, what stats will increase for a lower amount of experience points, and how you can act your character out within the game world.
Skills, Special Abilities and Spells: Skills can be bought using accumulated experience points just like stats can, and will allow the character to perform actions easier when using them. Special Abilities allow a character to do amazing things, such as jump extremely high, quickly think their way around situations, and repel magical energies back at their foes. There is also a large assortment of spells and spell types available to you as well.
Personality Engine: Keeps track of your characters moods, how they act generally, and helps decide your alignment by how you act. Gives players a focus so they can roleplay their characters in the best way possible.
Emotions Chart: Shows a list of friends and enemies, their feelings towards your character, and gives a reference point on how to increase game play and realism.
Enchanting: Place magical spells forever on items, making them absorb the properties of spells and abilities so that you can make powerful weapons to use against enemies.Theres also a lot more I havnt covered, but you get the main idea.
