Wow! That is a surprise. I hope that Wizards of the Coast is quick to fill the void with some kind of online publication as hinted at in this announcement.

I am not happy about this announcement. Dungeon magazine in recent years had metamorphosed into the best damn gaming magazine I've ever seen. Although it looks like Paizo is trying valiantly to pick up the pieces, I am not confident in WOTC's ability to create the same quality of content online especially without bringing people like Erik Mona and James Jacobs on board to helm the project.

And, I love my paper magazine. I suppose we shall see.

Still, you are correct. This is quite a change! Cancelling Dragon. Wow. I am simply stunned.

The Paizo and WOTC messageboards have really lit up since this announcement. It's made me pretty grumpy, myself.
