Check out this new article from the Daily Illuminator that Steve Jackson Games posted:
July 5, 2011: Mr Kromm, Him Busy (http://www.sjgames.com/ill/archives.html?m=July&y=2011&d=5)

As I've had quite a few people trying to guess (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1190420&postcount=251) what (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1190421&postcount=252) I'm (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1191258&postcount=261) working (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1191293&postcount=265) on (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1192903&postcount=289), and because groundless speculation inevitably leads to madness (or at least confusion), I asked Steve if I could share with you, and he said, "Yes." So . . .</p>
I am reviewing the first draft of a new edition of the Discworld Roleplaying Game (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/discworld/). Phil Masters took the original, folded in GURPS Discworld Also (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/discworldalso/), updated everything to take into account Terry Pratchett's tireless efforts since the previous edition (for instance, Going Postal (http://www.harpercollins.com/features/pratchettbooks/description.aspx?isbn=9780060502935), Thud! (http://www.harpercollins.com/features/pratchettbooks/description.aspx?isbn=9780060815318), and Unseen Academicals (http://www.harpercollins.com/features/pratchettbooks/description.aspx?isbn=9780061161704)), and switched the rules over to GURPS (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/Basic/)Fourth Edition (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/Basic/). As a result of all this folding in, updating, and switching over, the first draft is large . . . We're aiming for 400 pages, and as is customary in the RPG business, the first draft is considerably beefier than the target length. Thus, the review alone is going to take me a while!</p>
So that's where I've been.</p>
I cannot give out more details on dates right now. I must finish the review, and then Phil will want to make whatever changes he feels should be made before the playtest. Then there will be said playtest, followed by Phil making the rest of the changes I suggested, along with those recommended by his playtesters. And then there will be months of editing, followed by time for production, art, and printing. The release date is too far out for me to offer a prediction
