View Full Version : Friday Night Pathfinder

One of our players had to leave our campaign due to scheduling issues; we're looking for one or two more. On Fridays we play (traditional, face-to-face, tabletop) in Harvard Square from 6 to 10 PM in a world where the players are all too vulnerable and they know it. They rely more on skill, strategic thinking, and the judicious use of allies than hack-and-slash combat. There's been some kind of disaster, but they don't know what's going on. They can't simply turn on CNN, you know! :D

People have been getting sick. Really sick. Then severe storms hit Babylon Island where the best and brightest minds in the kingdom were working on a solution. The local government is in ruins, and the remnants of the military are having serious problems maintaining order. Oh yeah, and the players have also encountered demons who think that they (the players), "smell like one of us." The players have just been asked to render assistance to a group of VIPs trapped at the other side of town. That's where we will pick up this Friday.

The game is heavy on role playing, though we don't dress up like the characters or anything like that. Character advancement is on the slow side. We care more about creating a really cool collaborative story than min-maxing stats. We use Pathfinder rules. (www.d20pfsrd.com)
