View Full Version : Age of Members Poll 2

The old Age of members poll was a while back and some of us have shifted categories, in addition to the new members.

So a revisit to the Age question.

Speaking of your new categories, right now I'm 32 but in 4 months I'll be 33. Think there'll be a Age Of Members Poll 3 then so I can change categories again?

And why not?

Currently the 45-50 is in the lead with a 26.67% plurality.

Actually, I just jumped that up to 31.25% with my vote. Guess I have 6 years to wait untill I change categories again.

And another old fart voted. I only have a year until shifting yet again.

It's good to see that some of us are still playing. I get sick of talking to people that "played when I was a kid, but then I grew up." BULL!

I got older - I have NEVER grown up. I worked an entire career and retired, have been married for almost 20 years, have kids old enough to vote (that one hurts!), and I still haven't grown up. I'm going to be 110 years old, in a wheel-chair, trying to get the other codgers in the old-folks home to roll up characters...

EDITED TO ADD: Sonuva Crap! I just realized that on my next birthday, I fall off the poll! I officially don't exist (insert sad, pouty face here!!)

I even have the large easy to handle and read dice already.

I'm very surprised by the age breakdown on this site! I had no idea. This is very interesting and marks this as probably the most "mature" RPG sites I'm sure I've ever been on, assuming this anonymous poll is reliable. Though there don't appear to BE many younger people answering/replying to the poll at all so far - maybe us somewhat older gamers check out the forums more often? I just turned 38 June 29 myself.

I'd pretty much take it at face value: an informal poll with a selection bias. Though the near-normal distribution curve of the collected data is kinda neat~

Highly unscientific as only 10 of 15,000 members have answered it.

Make that thirty. Should try to do stuff tired and half blind.

Well i't may be a bit late but I put my vote.

Up to 44 voters!

So far no one older than 62.

Here in the Southeast Michigan area we recently lost a good gamer and good friend Lee Carol. An older gentleman. He will be missed.
