Past: Ten-thousand years ago the forces of light defeated the Dark god Marb, and imprisoned him in the eternal Void. But, Marb had foreseen his defeat, and had taken steps to insure his return. The Shards of Midnight. The 13 shards each contained a portion of his essence.
On the eve of his defeat he gave a shard to 13 of his most loyal servants and commanded them to hide the shards from his enemies. The 13 slipped past the sentries of the besieging armies and vanished into the Korlannian night.

Present: 3 of the shards have been reunited allowing the Dark One to reach out from the Void and set in motion his return. However, unless all 13 Shards of Midnight are reunited Marb cannot fully escape his prison. Now his followers are scowering Korlann searching for the 10 lost shards. Can you and your companions stop them, and stop the Rise of the Darkness.

My friend and I are looking to start a campaign. He's somewhat experienced and I'm a noob. How many more players do you need?
