Greetings all!

I am a veteran gamemaster on a path to return to roleplaying on a regular basis.
It's been a while since I sat in the gamemaster's chair, but I am looking for
mature, committed players who will be willing to have patience with me as I
shake off the rust.

All that being said, I am very much into the old-school renaissance of D&D
games, and I will be using a retro-clone of the original D&D for my rules set.
The game is Lamentations of the Flame Princess: Weird Fantasy Role-Playing. Take
a look here:

I will be adding in some house rules from original D&D and taking some hints
from 3.5 edition. But the goal here is to play a more streamlined, "rules-light"
version of the world's oldest roleplaying game.

The game will be play-by-chat, with the goal of playing one session every week.
I hope to start the game by September 1st at the latest, but maybe sooner if
things go well.

You can look at the Obsidian Portal page I am building for the game here:

I would like to get four players on board. Please contact me and let me know as
much as you can about your playing background. Once I have my four players, I
will work with each of you to create characters. All characters will start at
1st level.

Email me at gm_drance@yahoo. com and tell me why you would be a good fit for my
game.

So, let's see what legends we can build together! I look forward to hearing from
you!
