Do you think it is much better to play a RPG game then a sport, action, or aventure games for 4 or 6 hour a day?

No. Those other activities are as valid as roleplaying games for recreational activities.

I would say the ultimate would be a strategic boffer LARP... Your then exercising the body and the mind while having fun.

Playing RPG [4 to 6] hours a day is a big problem for me. I have a dream of being a hero and music in my ear, but when i play sport or action games i have no problems. I really enjoy playing my RPG games. Sometimes they take hours to play and i forget how long i have been playing them.

Really it'd be no different if you replace "playing RPGs" with any other activity, if it's affecting other areas. Do you have someone you can talk to? 'Cause that can help.

I love RPGs and have very little interest whatsoever in most sports (don't even get me started about watching sports on TV...*snore*) but RPGs aren't the only type of activity I enjoy. I like to mix it up. I enjoy books, movies, video games, board/card games and other social activities.

Let me see if I have this straight.... Your question is... Is it better to play an RPG as compared to playing a sport, action, or adventure video game for 4 - 6 hours a day? My answer: do what entertains you the most at the time. Granted, RPG's are tougher to get together. Finding a GM or Players is always a project. But once you do, I think RPG's are far more rewarding. Social interaction is better. Conversation is more enjoyable. And you're not just alone playing on a computer. MMO's are ok, but let's face it, WoW is not really an RPG.... it's just an MMO video game. Besides, playing RPG's leads to other social activities. Our entire game group went to see Ironman and Avatar when they both came out. Had dinner together and coffee after the movie. So the short answer for me is "YES"... it's better to play an RPG than a video game anyday.
