If anyone out there lives within driving distance of Montevallo, AL. (about 45 minutes from both Birmingham and Montgomery) and youíre looking for a game, shoot me an email Ė dmkastmaria(at)gmail(dot)com. Iíll be running on Saturday Afternoonís, with a two week on, one week off, schedule. I have a son and cats, so if either of those freak you out, this isnít the game for you.

Iím running Labyrinth Lord/AEC and will probably get around to posting a short houserule doc, to my blog, shortly. If you're unfamiliar with Labyrinth Lord, it's a Retro-Clone of Moldvay/Cook Basic/Expert D&D. The Advanced Edition Companion adds Characters, Monsters and Spells from AD&D to the game, which creates a version of the rules pretty close to the way many of us played, back in the day. A free, non-illustrated pdf of the game, may be downloaded, here - http://www.goblinoidgames.com/labyrinthlord.html

If you're unfamiliar with the Old School Renaissance, you can check out my blog, for links to the current, Old School gaming scene: http://underdarkgazette.blogspot.com/

This will be an Old School Sandbox, so youíll be free to wreak havoc and raise hell! The game will be Player Driven and Cooperative World-Building is encouraged. No smoking in the house, though you can join me on the back deck, for the occasional smoke-break. Iíve been DMing for 28 years and my games tend to feature a lot of violence AND a lot of Role-playing. All combat and damage dice, will be rolled in front of the players.

I plan on starting in mid-July. I just started recruiting and so far, I have two committed players. I'll start with three (one more to go) and would like about five or six, with seven being the max.
