View Full Version : The Zombiepocalypse

It's the end of the world as we know it... Will there be anything good on tv?

This is a game I’m going to run based on Eden Studio’s All Flesh Must Be Eaten, which uses the Unisystem core. I will be setting this game in an alternate, contemporary history (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-zombiepocalypse/wikis/setting). The characters will begin the adventure in a very small town (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-zombiepocalypse/wikis/bfe) in middle america.

This is a tabletop, not PBP game. We will be meeting at my residence on Thursdays from 18:00 to 22:00. We'd like to meet mature players that enjoy ROLE playing and can commit to weekly games on Thursday. Send me an email if you're interested...

I am using Obsidian Portal (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/the-zombiepocalypse) to track most of my info, check out the wiki for more info.

The books I’m using are:
* All Flesh Must Be Eaten, 2e
* One of the Living
* The Book of Archetypes 1 & 2
* All Tomorrow’s Zombies, Dungeons and Zombies, etc as sources for additional magic, skills etc

Additionally, I will be sourcing some material from:
* Witchcraft, Abomination Codex, Book of Hod and Mystery Codex
* Armaggedon, Enemies Archived
* Ghosts of Albion
* numerous RPG accessories like maps, paper minis, etc.
* And of course, whatever other little tidbits strike my fancy.

I've posted some info about chargen (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-zombiepocalypse/wikis/characterization). Importantly. Inspireds have slightly more powers than the AFMBE book allocates, but nobody believes them, and those characters will face a certain amount of prejudice and scorn if they show their abilities. OTOH, some problems are best dealt with using the arcane arts…

We just played our first session. We're less than 24 hours into the outbreak, the city has been cordoned off, the players have wracked up 2 kills (de-animations), no injuries and have managed to scrounge a few supplies. They're in the dark, the car is out of gas and they aren't sure where they are or where they're going next.

The phrase, "Listen up you primitive screwheads, this is my BOOMSTICK" has come up exactly once so far.

We still have room for two or three more players to join Jose Torres, lay clergy and small town doctor and Maria, small time gangster on parole as they try to survive and make sense of what's happening to their formerly peaceful small town.
