One of fantasies most recognized artists died today, he was 82.

I always appreciated the way he drew women as opposed to the super-toned figures of Boris.

IMHO the Grand Master and Father of Fantasy Art without whom an entire genre of art as we know it today would not exist. He will be missed. Fortunately, his artwork will live on for a long, long time.

Frazetta was not only a talented artist but much more. His life was an amazing one, definitely full and well-lived. I strongly recommend the Frazetta Painting with Fire

Sad. He was my favorite artist. I have plenty of his books at home.

I just ordered Frazetta's Painting with Fire from Netflix. Should get it later this week. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have one Frazetta signed print. I shall cherish.

I presume that you mean more than just the usual signature that is "hidden" in a corner of the painting.

A signed print means the artist signed it after the printing. I have a Kelly Feas, and a Robin Wood as well. No originals alas.

Ah, but still, even if not the originals, they are a very nice item to have.
