I'd be interested. When would we play? What edition would we be using? Anything we should know about character creation?

Never played shadowrun, but I'd be interested in learning.

I already have 3 confirmed players from a previous Earthdawn group that will be switching systems and game day to Fridays and Shadowrun.
Unfortunately Olreich, the group is seeking dedicated and experienced players. The group, myself included are looking for experienced players who already know they love the Shadowrun system and are willing to commit to playing on Friday nights every week for at least a year.

Character design will be using 3rd ed Shadowrun Companion 100-point build system. Character concept and background is more important to me during our first few sessions than stats on paper. You may want to avoid playing a decker or rigger as they are often left in the background and may easily be roles/rolls fulfilled by NPC contacts. As always I, the GM, have final say on what is and what is not allowed.

I have sent replies to the interested players but no new players showed up last Friday. SPACE STILL AVAILABLE IN THIS NEW CAMPAIGN!!!

Color me interested! I haven't played Shadowrun in years, but I would dearly love to get back into it. I'm on PST, 7pm on fridays should work out great for me. I just want to know what edition we'd be running. I played/GMed 3rd, and I never really warmed up to 4th.

We are using a hybrid 2nd/3rd edition ruleset. Picking and choosing the rules that work best.

Is this game still running?

Still going on Wednesdays?

I've played SR in the past (tabletop) but haven't tried with maptools.

Thanks again,

Is there something wrong with trying to get into a game? I've been starved for gaming for quite a while. Asking for details about a wide variety of games greatly increases the chances of finding one I would actually fit into and that would fit my own schedule. Somehow, I don't see that as violating anyones sensibilities, except apparently yours.

This is the exact type of game I have been looking for. I GM 2nd/3rd myself. Just looking to get some playing in. Please contact me regarding space and whether the game is still going. Thanks!

I'm totally down for any Shadowrun games going down. Why are you guys using 2e/3e rules? How do they differ from 4e? (I have played 4e in the last couple of years, but it's been like, 15 years since I played any older versions.)
