Hello all, I am new to this Play by Post idea, and was looking for a group to help me learn. If such a group exists and would teach me I would enjoy running a D&D 3.5 play by post campaign. Thank you all who are interested and for all of your help. :D

play by post is a laid back type of game. the players and the dm can post when they are are able to. There is a dice roller for the post type games. You might want to check out posts from some of the games that are doing them.

go to forums, go to the play by post subforums and click on the ones with a black cloud like thing next t o the name to look at them. You can look at what they are doing.

there will be a drop out rate and if you are running it you will need to keep herd on the group.

this is the listing of my pbp game. It has been going on since October of last year.

Is your group still active? And if it is do you have room for another? If so what edition etc..If not, do you know of a group with a space that is playing at least an edition of DnD?

If you're interested in trying out Pathfinder (a.k.a. DnD 3.75), I have room in my pbp.

Look in the Forums under Play By Posts and find the Dead of the Night group. Then start reading, particularly the rules thread. Pretty much everything you need to know is right there. Send me a PM if you have any questions.
