Thinking of instituting long term challenges for my players for an experience boost when accomplished. Nothing that needs to be done just something I think would be fun. Although I don't want players to be focusing on accomplishing these challenges in the midst of a venture. Anyway here's some basic idears...

Kill something mid-stride.
Create a weapon using only natural items and kill 5 things with it.
Intimidate a merchant into handing you a free item.
--2,000XP
Use an arrow as a melee weapon to kill someone.
Use no weapons and kill a bear.
Eat a kobold shamans heart.
--8,000XP
Kill a dragon mid-flight while riding it. (must be a hostile dragon)
Intimidate an Angel.
Find the Tarrasque.
Bard

Perform for a crowd of 30+ people.
Accumulate 100GP by performing.
Charm a merchant into a free item.
--2,000XP
Use a spell to distract someone while you steal all their money.
Charm your way into a free night at an inn or a free meal.
Bard (Player) must make a song relative to the quest and sing it for the rest of the group.
--8,000XP
Perform for 10+ Dragons.
Challenge another bard of matching or higher level to a dance off and win. (player must also dance)
Charm a Balor demon.
Cleric

Turn 30 undead in your career.
Heal total of 120HP in your career.
Protect an enemy incapable of fighting for themselves.
--2,000XP
Turn 120 undead in your career.
Heal total of 300HP in your career.
Create a weapon modified to fit your chosen dieties weapon perfectly.

Donate 100,000 gold to a church or state. (total)
Convert 50 followers to your religion.
Defeat a Balor Demon and bring back a trophy as a prize. (his head, finger, etc. Difficult as Balor's explode after death.)
Druid

Plant a tree.
Heal a total of 25 HP.
Get 30 kills / assisted kills (Deal at least 25% damage to an enemy that a teammate kills)

Survive a month in a forested area.
Provide for 5 other people in the forest for a week.
Create a path between towns through forested area.
--8,000XP
Create a magebreed animal (Eberron)
Ride a tyrannosaurus into battle. And win.

Kill an enemy with a shield bash.
Execute an enemy. (rip off head, chop off head, stomp to death, etc.)

Fell an enemy by dealing over 50 damage.
Knock an enemy into it's own trap/attack/spell/etc.
--8,000XP
Kill a dragon from the inside.
Beat a diety in a duel.
Enter a mass battle (10,000+ combatants) and between you and your NPC squadmates kill 500 enemies.
Monk

Activate every trap in a dungeon without taking damage.
Jump to a platform 8+ft above and kill an enemy in one action.
Kick through a door and score a kill.

Jump to a platform 15+ft above and kill an enemy in one action.

Fall 40ft without taking damage and killing an enemy upon landing in one action.

Kick something so hard it evaporates/explodes. (enemy, door, wall, etc)
Fall 150ft without taking damage, and killing an enemy upon landing in one action.
Quivering Palm a dragon to death.
Paladin

Completely disarm and disable an enemy in a fight without killing it.

Mid-War device a diplomatic resolution to end it.

Convert a Balor Demon.
Kill an enemy by dealing 50+ damage in one attack using Smite Evil.
Donate 100,000 GP to church / state.
Ranger

Survive a week in barren mountainous areas.
Win a battle against 5 enemies without assistance. (Swarms do not count)

Kill two enemies in one shot.
Survive a week in a massive cavern, alone.
Win a battle against 5 enemies without assistance or taking damage. (Swarms do not count)
Rogue

Disable 50 traps total.
Sneak attack every enemy in a dungeon at least once.

Sneak attack the same enemy 3 times.
Assassinate an enemy in broad daylight on a busy urban street without being noticed or caught.
Completely disable, remove, keep, and rebuild a trap replacing it somewhere else.
--8,000XP
Open a lock by kicking it. (+20 Circumstance mod to DC)
Balance on a cloud (DC 120)
Completely disable, remove, keep, and rebuild a trap while adding extra features dealing twice as much damage as it had before your modifications.
Sorcerer/Wizard
