Scrolls - do they need material components?
For example a scroll of True resurection? Do you still need 25,000gp in diamonds and a sprinkle of holy water?

The materials are used upon the creation of the scroll. The paper just stores the spell for later activation.

Good - And anyone can use a divine spell of 9th level?
- does it still take the same casting time?

Outstanding! Once again the members of P&PG come through with the answers for another member.

You are Welcome.

Although now I just noticed that I posted the Pathfinder link and not the basic 3.5 link and this question was posted in the 3.X forum and not the Pathfinder forum. I hope that's not an issue. I will say that John Reyst has done an admirable job with the site. Most of the content is easy to read &
follow and provides a great quick reference rather than having to dig through the book.
