Does anyone know of or have experience with any kind of software to help with the creation of a RPG adventure/campaign module?

I have found some software that helps with writing novels but nothing specific for games. I am kind of surprised if there isn't anything out there since there are hundreds of thousands of adventure modules in existence.

I am looking for something that would help with organizing handouts, overall layout of a module, maybe name generators, NPC development, plot points, locations, antagonists.
I know you can get individual apps to design dungeon layouts, generate NPCs, create loot tables but I cant find anything to help you organize it and help with the story parts.

Dundjinni mapping software makes the maps and has an adventure functionality to it. You can add descriptions, locations of NPCs, etc... to it. To do everything that you're wanting to will require mapping software, word processor, and layout software.

There doesn't need to be any graphics software just the ability to import/link to already created images. Word processing definitely and some "document publishing" features.

I guess that a well thought out word template could do the job.

For DTP Open Office has a nice suite of tools. While not specific to gaming, they are tools.

Personally I've never worried about the software structuring my modules. I';m perfect capable of doing that myself.
