Gather Information

Is there a substitute for gather information in Pathfinder? I've been using knowledge: local, but it's based off of intelligence rather than charisma.

I only have the beta rules so it might be different in the final release, but from beta, Diplomacy replaced Gather Information.

This hasn't changed. The gather information check is a subset of the rules for Diplomacy.
