The Druid (PH2) has similar powers but the whole concept has changed significantly.

If you're talking about draconic polymorph, the MM2 states that some gold dragons know a ritual to change their shape, but no real details are given.

if you are talking about dragons, just let them polymorph like they used to if the dragon is more than just a creature to be killed.

You would have though 4th edition had covered it all. Only read, never played... but thats interesting there is not something covering this scenario... wish i could be more help. Whil'e i'm not really into 4th edition, i think i'll do a couple 1-on-1 sessions with a friend to get better exposure to the rules so i can answer 4th ed questions better.

I'm an old school gamer, so look to the GM to make a ruling, and anything is possible. Convert the old spell to 4th ed yourself if you have to, for your own house rules.
