Ok, damage is not what I thought, but we be playing in message section, so work with me and all will go ok, I hope, I did not mean to confuse all, especially myself, but I did mange to. If I can figure out how to remove the forum pain I will. So do not post in the forum unless it is OOC.

Thanks

Howdy, and I can see in the forums....how do I do a dice roll here though?

Cheek can't remember what his daily is, but goes ahead and makes up some numbers and uses it on a public computer anyway! Gahr rolls some dice

Kit, I just figured out how to use the dice roller. When you start typing, use the [Go Advanced] option. Along with all the other advanced text options is a red six-sided die. It should be on the far right end of its row, second row from the top. Click it and type the sort of roll you want to make (an example being d12, 3d6+4, 2d20+3, etc). It will show up like my 3d20+3 did above :D Hope that helps!

...now I just need to figure out how to make it say "Cheek does ____" instead of "Gahr rolls some dice"...

This is 4e, there are several skill checks that can be made in non combat situations to help ya'll. For example, Diplomacy, History, Bluff, Perception, Arcana and Streetwise and others. Not all encounters are combat, but by using your chosen skills can grant success for the encounter. When you are doing these checks remember you are roleplaying, I do give bonuses for unique methods and creativity.

Good morning all, I am requesting that if after 3 days of my last posting and you are not planning to post for whatever reason, please let me know so that I can skip your turn and keep the party moving along. I know and understand we all have differant schedules and priorities, and that things do happen, ie, loss of power, loss of net and so on. Please just update me so that I know what you plannng.

Thanks

There is a 2 hour period that if you try and post twice in the two hour period it will auto merge on ya. So if you post either edit it or wait two hours to post again.

Morning Bro, The wolf stats are on the character sheet, if you print it out, though it does noes not show the bonus of +7 perpection. I also had to edit your post for the die roll. it should look like this with brackets at the end, a = bonuses, # = type of die, ie 10, 100, 20, 4 ..... The example is for an attack with damage rolled if it hits, for the skills you delete the ;2d#+a

"roll=1d#+a;2d#+a]flavor text[/roll"

Dwarven Paladin Jaysen's background:

Jaysen was named after a Human hero who saved a contingent of dwarves (including his father, the Lord of his Drawf-Hold) in a war long ago. On the day of his birth, a quiver of the mountain indicated that his was a special life. He began training as a paladin almost as soon as he was able to walk.

As he grew into a young dwarven adult, he began to see that his spiritual leader was after the leadership of his father's domain, a development which troubled him. He sent his father a short warning and then put the entire thing out of his mind. Time passed swiftly and he became a very worthy paladin in the Order of the Fist of Onatar, and was seen as an excellent eventual successor to the throne.

However, he began having very vivid and clear dreams: dreams that were disturbing as they seemed to revolve around leaving the safety of the dwarf-hold and roaming the outside world, and protecting a small reptilian creature. He told the leader of the religious section of the Dwarf-hold about these visions and after the other dwarfs advice of fasting and mind-clearing rituals did not help the problem, it was decided that these visions should be followed. And so he gathered together his family, who brought everything the young dwarf would need to be prepared for the brutally tough world outside the mountain, a world where creatures would never know the comfort of being surrounded by solid rock.

And so he left the comfort of everything he knew and travled to Blackroot, as he remembered seeing an old, worn sign that said 'Blackroot' in his dreams.

This is just a sample of how the combat will go and how to use the flavor text.

The two combatants are both warriors:
Warrior 1 Goliath Barbarian vs
Warrior 2 1/2 Orc Fighter

Warrior 1:

Grants warrior 2 a +2 attack till next round by using Devestating Strike

Gathering all my mighty primal power I swing at the 1/2 orc without concern to my own defense

Damage

I was hoping it would, and to all players, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK a dumb question!!!!!!! I ask many.... I will find the answer if I don't have one right at the moment. But this game is about FUN!!! If needed I can and have always been willing to help out anyone (even if your not in the game!) also I am not above bending the rules to work for us if it makes sense.... I also know that not everyone has access to all the books.

For fighters and fighter types there are marks,each is differant in some way, but in all cases only one mark can be on an enemy at any time and only the last mark counts, so be careful and note which ones are marked and by whom.

Mne's Powers:
At Will Powers:
Shifty Racial Power: Skitter and scamp thru the ranks of your enemies, much to thier chagrin. Shift 1square.

Combat Challenge: Everytime you attack a target you can choose to mark them. wether you hit or miss they are marked. The mark lasts till the end of your next turn, while marked the target recieves a -2 to attack rolls that do not include you as the target. Whenever an enemy marked by you is adjacent to you and shifts or makes an attack that does not include you, you can make a melee basic attack.

Sure Strike: Trading Power for precision.Light War Pick, +5 Attack/1d6+1 Damage; Dagger +5 Attack/1d4+1 damage; Spear +5 Attack/1d8+1 Damage

Dual Strike: You lash out quickly and follow up quicker making two attacks. Light War Pick, +3 Attack/1d6+2 Damage; Dagger +4 Attack/1d4+2 damage;

Encounter Power:
Steel Serpent Strike: You stab visiously at your foes knee or foot to sow them down. No matter how tough they are they will favor that leg for sometime. Light War Pick, +3 Attack/2d6+2 Damage; Dagger +4 Attack/2d4+2 damage; Spear +3 Attack/2d8+2 Damage

Second Wind: You spend a healing surge and regain 6 hit points. You gain a +2 to all defences till the start of your next turn.

Daily Power:
Tempest Dance: You lunge from enemy to enemy giving each a taste of your weapon as you pass, up to 3 enemies. Light War Pick, +3 Attack/1d6+2 Damage; Dagger +4 Attack/1d4+2 damage; Spear +3 Attack/1d8+2 Damage
