View Full Version : Hack in the Saddle Again

Basically looking for a few brave souls interested in trying out the new version of the Hackmaster rules.

Atmosphere will be "kick back and have fun", with no major storyline aside from whatever develops during play. Roleplaying appreciated, but not overly emphasized.

I'll also put up an Obsidian Portal page (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/return-to-frandor), which can be used for chatter.

Totally there for it!

Great, just need to find a few more brave souls...

Bumping after a long while...is there anyone in the area willing to give the game a spin? Anyone? Bueller?

Hiya Stormy,

I'm still up for it. :)

Yeah, now if only we can find a couple more deranged thrillseekers...ah, I mean adventurous spirits to try the game...

Anyone remember "Keep on the Borderlands" from long-past days of D&D? It's back. With an attitude.

I've been gaming since September with the Role Playing Society of Monmouth, twice a month...about 90 minutes round trip each session. My roots are set pretty deeply in those 2 games, but I'm still looking for something local to play. I might be able to lure a couple of my fellow gamers into Hackmaster down here.

Should I offer a bounty?

(Or perhaps some other brand of paper towel?)

Finally heard back from the one local guy I know....he's too busy playing in 2 games & DM'ing a 3rd. I swear Ocean County has to be the driest place for gaming!

Yeah, unless you want to play 4e...

I couldn't even find a 4e group down here...a few who wanted to play, but no DM. That's why I travel to Monmouth twice a month. But I did email a couple others, so maybe they'll be up for it.

Oh hey, are you still looking to game bi-weekly on Sundays? That'd work for me, plus it'll give me something to (hopefully) lure some players in.

I'd still love to, at least bi-weekly if not more often when schedules allow. The wife keeps asking if I'm going to get a group together; I keep replying "I'm trying."

I've got a player for us. AND she may have one or two more friends interested. I'll let you know as soon as possible.

Will your step-son still be playing?

No, more's the pity (the dwarven fighter he rolled was a real kick-ass); he moved to NC. So we're still looking, though if we can get at least a trio we'll be functional.
