Cant recall the one-liner, but this beer commercial was hilarious.

I love the one where a man, home alone, is drinking beer and watching tv. Well, he spills his beer on one of his wife's magazines, so as not to waste it, he slurps it up from the middle of the magazine. Of course, timing couldn't be worse, and while slurping it up, wife and mother-in-law come in and give him the worst look, evaar. Hilarious.

i swear i didn't see the ending coming. I about spit out my drink laughing so hard.

the radio commercials for bud light's greatest men in history.

Of those, my absolute favorite, the inventor of the taco salad.

It has got meat, cheese, sour cream, guacomole, chips, refried beans, salsa, and a little bit a lettuce. Is it good for you...???

Of course it is... it's a salad.

I learned how to spell bologna with those classic bologna commercials from the 70's.

How did it go(Thoth recollects)?

My bologna has a first name, it o-s-c-a-r
My bologna has a second name, its m-a-y-e-r
so i love to eat it every day
and if you ask me what i'll say
oscar mayer has a way with b-o-l-o-g-n-a

Ha, from memory! Thoth probably remembers it because he hated that commercial whenever it came on.

i don't think the taco bell dog counts as classic.

Classic for me is the old Hans Ketchup commercials were the guy would set up a bottle on the edge of the empire state building, run all the way down to a hotdog stand, get his dog, and then hold the hotdog under the exact spot where the ketchup would land seconds later.

Would that be like the 'real men of genius' commercials? Such as:

"Mr. Stadium scoreboard marriage proposal ma-a-a-an."

They may not be classics but they sure are funny.

Budweiser's "Hockey Falls" and "Bubble Boy Hockey League" commercials during the 90's were classic. I suspect I may be the only hockey fan on this forum that knows what I'm talking about though.

If only they could make a beer half as good as their advertising, it might actually be drinkable.

I guess not classic, but memorable.

Ok classic, the first got milk commercial. The one where the guy is in the aaron burr museum, gets called by the radio station to ask who shot alexander hamilton, but the dude ate a peanut butter sandwich with no milk, and the guy couldn't hear what he was saying over the phone.

Got Milk?

I also miss the bud bowl commercials

My favorite new commercial that I really really love is the Prius commercial with the song, "Let Your Love Flow" in the background and the people are dressed up like the landscape. Love the colors, the harmonizing, the effort put into it. Even as a straight 27 year old man I mark out for that commercial.

Bananas in pajamas was an awesome commercial back in the day.

I also looooove the Life Alert commercial! "ALL SENIOR CITIZENS SHOULD HAVE LIFE ALERT!!!!" That commercial makes me laugh so hard!

My favorite commercial is a Nike one, inwhich John Randle, a defensive lineman for the MN Vikings is observed buying cloth, thread, etc. You then see Mr. Randle sewing a small Favre uniform (this has to be a classic commercial, Favre was still a Packer and hadn't had one of his retirements :) ). Mr. Randle then dresses a chicken in the small Favre uniform and proceeds to chase the chicken. The commercial ends with Mr. Randle cooking a chicken.

Priceless.

You may not have seen this commercial however, PETA sucessfully had it pulled shortly after it started to air.

Two old thoughts. The first was from the seventies I think (it has been a long time) It has this guy dressed in a Pepsi uniform running to a women dressed in a Burger King uniform. The voice over said something like "These two classics had to get together. They were made for each other." Now who is King?

And the second was a phone commercial from the mid eighties. This guy tries to dial home and keeps getting this fat Hawaiian guy who answers the phone "mukalacha beach side." I say that when I answer the phone sometimes just to be a (part of the male anatomy). Thinking of it makes me laugh.

Oh wait one more, there was a commercial for Charleston Chews that said "Charleston Chew is chewy Louie, but not to Chewy." Had these guys dressed up as musketeers.

My last voicemail message for my landline that I no longer have, was about 3 minutes long, something like "Hello, I am unable to take this call. However, if you would like to leave a message, stand on one foot, turn circles while hopping and rubbing your head while ...." etc etc. It went on forever, we'd have people call and tell us not to pick up the next call so the voicemail would pick up and they could show their friends our hilarious message.

Yea they don't make toys fun like that anymore. Its all safe now. When you used to break toys back in the day you could be exposed to things.

I remeber my old Transformer toys. They were actualy made of real metal, istead of cheap plastic, and could take quite a bit of abuse. You know, almost like they were designed to be played with by rambunxious kids. Ah... for the days of qualtity toy manufacturing.

ronald mcdonald TODAY seems very pedifilic but that's just because he is a clown and I have an irrational distaste for clowns.
