Has anyone used it? I am creating a new campaign world and am considering getting it. It seems more reasonably priced than Campaign cartographer.

I know I'm way late, but have you tried the free trial (http://www.nbos.com/nox/index.php?action=1001&id=144)? Anyway, I've been messing with it some. Took some getting used to, but overall very nice. Pretty sure you can import the maps into something like OpenRPG or Maptools if you're running an online game and you can definitely export to ScreenMonkey.

I've never used Campaign Cartographer, so I have no basis for comparison as far as usability, but so far Fractal Mapper is doing what I need it to do. CC's maps definitely look better, but I'm not so sure it's worth the added bucks.

I have CC3, Fractal Terrains, the whole package. It's worth the money for the quality of maps it can generate and all of the features in the program that you can affect the map with.
