That's brilliant, did you make it yourself or build it from a set of instructions?

"Yes, you're skillful and brave. You and the fire marshall over there should get together and swap recipes." I really did find that rather funny. Yrisz has a Passive Perception of 21, so she can help too, I'll be it from the parties center. I wonder how far we should get ahead of Umi as we...

Thanks for the mechanics explanation, Palpatim. Derim has a Passive Perception value of 18, but he'd like to actively check for traps, hidden doors and what have you as we move forward. This will make for slow, but alive progress.

Derim takes a few seconds to answer Yrisz, while checking the entrance for anything unusual: "The shield thing is just a figure of speech, beautiful. It applies to large units. In a small group we cover the skill range of an entire army with a few people, so specialization is good. I can't...

Sniggering at Rogur's "fire marshall" quip and the look of indignation on Noxias's fey face, Yrisz eases back from Pradize's door to better allow those with the knowledge of the perils of such thing examine it without her in their way. She's rewarded for her prudence when Derim gets threateningly...

I believe that the only way you can trigger opportunity attacks (ie using a reaction to attack) is if you use your movement to move out of the enemy's reach without using the disengage action.

Nox elbows out of Derim's bear hug whilst giving a "see what I mean" look directed at Rogur. "Next time, at least buy me a drink first before you molest me," he quips straightening out his robes. "Well," he addresses the whole group, "sounds like Pradize will be leaving us? If so, I thank you...

Evidently this site's reply notifications started going to his spam folder, but he said he'd come back and catch up, and see if he wants to make a final post. That said, I want to post and I'm gonna. It will probably be a few days before I can...

You've explored the entirety of this tower, so far as you can tell. To recap, the rooms/things you found were: 1) A carving on the entrance representing a sunrise or sunset; it was a powerful trap that almost did something to Tina. 2) A stone throne facing one of the windows; Tina sat in it and...

I have never played the 5E D&D rules but am very interested in an online game. I will be reading the books later I used to love the old Dragonlance campaigns although I will definitely have to do some reading before this starts. Can you give me a basis from where we are starting?

I'm not Umiushi, but if you've got a hammer stowed on your person, you can retrieve it as a "minor action." There are items (and possibly feats) that allow your character to ready and attack on the same action. Without that, though, a first-round action for Derim might look something like:...

Derim is a warden. I mark every enemy in contact with my base as a free action every turn.
